sending messages to users with custom roles

This plugin is working really well so far, all except that it doesnt integrate with the s2member plugin which provides custom user roles – this is really important for my set up and I would really like to use the admin user roles plugin if this can be worked out, is there any possibility of getting it work with anything but the default user roles?
