Revived post uses the wrong image and won't update on Facebook

I’ve just successfully reposted all my old blog posts to facebook, and it seems to be working OK, apart from one blog post that keeps drawing the image from my profile picture instead of the featured image that goes with the posting.
I have checked the code in the post and tried to edit the image several times in my facebook page, but it just won’t work. And this is the second problem, I cannot seem to save the edits I make to the post!
So when I go into the edit page on facebook, I can scroll the featured image and the one I want to use – which is the second image in the list (unlike the other postings where the featured image is first in the list). But having saved to the new image, the post just reverts to the version uploaded via Revive Old Post. Same goes for editing the text in the post.
Its driving me mad! can anyone help?
