    Hi,

My Stripe plugin seems to be fully hooked up and functioning nicely on the back-end. I have SSL installed, and have actually just switched the whole site to https as well as enabling it in WooCommerce. I have checked and double-checked the settings including API keys.

No matter what I do I can’t get Stripe to show up on the checkout page. If you add a product to your cart, here:
    https://akwamag.com/residential/

you can see on the checkout page that Paypal is enabled but Stripe is not, although in the source html you can see that some Stripe javascript is loaded at the bottom of the page. If I disable Paypal, the checkout page tells me that there is no payment gateway.

I would be happy to give you my log in so you can have a look yourself.

I agreed to repair/finish this site for a new client with a tight deadline – I thought it would be easy, but I’m really stuck on this!

    Thanks in advance,

    Saill

I went to your site and see this plugin on your checkout page (https://imgur.com/Vq3xxJT). Is there something else going on? Does it work when you’re not logged in?

    Hi Stephen,

Thanks for having a look! You are right, it is miraculously working now, both logged in and logged out.

I discovered the source of the problem – earlier I had been testing with a $0.01 test product so I could test the entire checkout procedure:

For some reason the very low price causes Stripe not to kick in. Perhaps this is intentional, for some reason.

Very relieved that it fundamentally works!

Yeah that’s by design. Stripe requires a minimum charge of $0.50 so the plugin is disabled unless the cart total is over that minimum. It made more sense to me to do it that way than to give the customer a warning that their cart total was too small.

    Thanks,
    Stephen
