User Specific "One time popup/notification" Plugin?

  • Hey Guys,

    I’m not sure where on this forum I should post this but I’m looking for a plugin…

    Basically, I want to show a notification / popup to a specific user the next time they visit/login that will continue to show every time they visit until they click something like “Do not show this again” which will mark it read so that I (the admin) can see that they’ve read it.

    Does that make sense & more importantly does anyone know of a plugin similar or to do exactly what I need?

    Bump, Anyone got any ideas?

    I’m looking for exactly the same functionality. It’s often important if you want to interact directly with one specific registered user.

    In the meantime I made a text widget with visibility setup for a specific role. But this is not want I really want to do as it will disturb other users.
