audience top languages always displays en-US

    Hi

    even though i am using a greek version wp (with english backend) and even though i have

    <html class=”no-js” lang=”el”>
    <meta name=”language” content=”el-gr”>
    <meta http-equiv=”content-language” content=”el-gr” />

    in my header, slimstat reports only “en-us” language.
    Is there a specific head meta tag slimstats is tracking that i am not using?

    Hi,

    Slimstat detects the browser language by reading the HTTP headers, not the ones included in your source code.
