Cannot Create Spaces Between Paragraphs on Posts

  • I cannot create an extra space or two between paragraphs or images by just hitting enter. I write the post the way I want it, then save it and my spaces disappear and everything condenses. Makes me crazy. Other fourm post about this offer me no simple solution other than going here and there to change the code… this seems so silly and should be fixed.. help. Its just harder to read when everything is all mashed up.

  • Sounds like a problem with your theme’s style.css file (or maybe a function). I couldn’t possibility fix it via this forum, but a bypass might be to make sure that you’re in the ‘Text’ editor (not the ‘visual’ editor) and every time you wish to make a blank line, write

    & n b s p ; [remove the spaces]

    in that line. If that doesn’t work, try adding a few </br>

    I tried this and it did not work?? Went into the text version and entered those separately and together and it didn’t work….
