Caching error?

  • Whenever I save an edit to a page, I get the following message.

    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 165617 bytes) in …/blog/wp-includes/cache.php on line 48

    The save goes through, but it gets the error instead of returning to page.php like normal.

  • It’s just what it looks like: Your PHP process is apparently configured to use 8MB and it is running out of memory.

    You might contact your host and see about getting that increased, or revisit your plugins and see if disabling one or two will get you back under the memory limit.
