Need Rule to Redirect Changed URL's

I changed one of the sites, to leave out /wordpress in the URL. However, one particular popular page has a lot of external linkage, and all those visitors are landing on the 404 page as a result.

Is there a rewrite rule I could add to htaccess that would make both URL’s with and without /wordpress essentially the same? I would change it back, but other external pages now link to the new URL structure.
