    Thanks ??

Twitter hasn’t been added yet because they still use OAuth 1.0a. Not that 1.0a is bad, but it means the OAuth 2.0 code I’ve built doesn’t work for that, so I would need to code the 1.0a separately, or toss in a Twitter library, and I’m trying to avoid extra libraries at the moment. I’d like to add Twitter login, perhaps in the near future.

When you try out the plugin feel free to let me know how I can improve it!

    Hi Hectavex,

Thanks for the really prompt reply. I guessed it was something like that. It seems crazy that Twitter hasn’t yet upgraded to OAuth 2.0 (but not surprising, given everything else that Twitter fails to do right).

I’ll definitely install the plugin (in a week or two, when the site has progressed to that point) and do a careful review … and then let you know if I find anything to improve. It looks very impressive – and the right way to go about implementing this!

I noticed a document on dev.twitter… does this mean they now support oauth 2.0 and this could be implemented with your existing code base?

    Thanks

I would also be interested in Twitter support please.

    Thanks.
