Plugin Status and Questions

  • I’m interested in this plugin, but I’m concerned that it hasn’t been updated since WordPress 3.8.3. Is it still under active development?

    Also, can you tell me how this compares with WP Project Manager Pro, in terms of the version level (Free / Single Site / Business)?

    Finally, do you know if this would be compatible with WP Project Manager addons, such as Sub Task, Gannt Chart, etc…?

    I’m willing to buy WP Project Manager Pro, but I definitely want the ability to restrict users to viewing only their own assigned tasks. I actually submitted this as a feature request to WeDevs, but they didn’t seem too interested in implementing it.

    Yep, it’s still under development, although we haven’t made any public releases for a while obviously.

    We’ve been developing our CRM, Support Ticket System and Time Tracking Plugins for this and hope to begin some more development in mid to late January integrating each of these so we can start to have some major movement again on the PM.

    I can’t tell you how it compares to WP Project Manager Pro unfortunately. But ours is 100% free so you can test it against that.

    As for the add ons, we spoke with those guys about that and we believe it can be compatible but probably is not currently. We’ll be introducing sub-tasks into the core though in our next major release. Gannt Charts are planned but we’ll see how that gets implemented.

    With our application developers only see Projects and Tasks they’re assigned to so you’re good there.

    We have difficulty getting in touch with WeDevs as of late (last 9 months) – I think they’ve gone corporate on us! ??
