    Jetpack Mechanic ??

    You can remove them by clicking on “Settings” on the left sidebar when looking at one of your sites in WordPress.com’ dashhoard, and then clicking on the “Disconnect” button in that sidebar.

    I hope this helps.

    It actually does not work. When I click Settings for any of the old/dead sites, I get this message up top:
    There was an error retrieving your site settings. Make sure your Jetpack is up to date.

    So without Jetpack running on those sites, it looks like you can’t make any changes. But without the sites even being up anymore, I can’t update Jetpack on them. Chicken <> Egg, right?

    What’s the site URL? I can take care of that for you!

    I have a dead website still listed in My Sites that I want removed. Why isn’t there an option to remove dead websites from the list?

    Domain in question, aspie-confessions.thelonegeek.net.

    Hello, same problem here, the topic appears solved but there’s no actual answer.

    Thanks in advance.

    @nahuelmahe

    That site is still connected to your WordPress.com account, and you appear to be using Jetpack on that site. If you or I remove the site from your WordPress.com account, you won’t be able to use Jetpack anymore.

    If you want to keep using Jetpack, but don’t want to use the site management feature, you can go to Jetpack > Settings in your dashboard, and then click on “Configure” next to the JSON API module. You’ll be able to deactivate Site Management there.

    @pfilias I removed these dead sites from your WordPress.com account.

    Hello @jeherve,
    Thank you for your actions, the domain destinobuenoairestravel.com is pointing to destino-buenosaires.com and i am using jetpack for this domain, i get an error when i try to remove it from settings. Any idea how can i remove destinobuenoairestravel.com from my jetpack sites list? (without disabling my jetpack account).
    Thanks

    Hey @jeremy could you do this for my wordpress.com account too? I have three sites listed and the domain on two of them is expired and I no longer need access to the sites via wordpress.com. The two sites are williamgfoster.com/blog and williamgfoster.com/wedding, I still use willfoster.doesntexist.org/blog.

    Thanks!
