• Hi there, I managed to get 100/100 Google page speed, but then it keeps going back down to 99/100 saying I need to minify HTML. I have to then do the following to solve the problem:

    1) Untick minify HTML in Autoptimize.
    2) Save and clear cache in Autoptimize.
    3) Purge all my caches on my hosting admin page; Purges everything: The page-cache, the CDN cache, and the object cache.
    4) Tick minify HTML in Autoptimize.
    5) Then once again purge all my caches on my hosting admin page.

This then resolves the problem, but the problem then returns the next time visit page speed (not sure of the time lapse) or if I purge my caches again. I then have to repeat the above to minify html again. I’m on a WP Multisite domain set up if that makes any difference.

When I have 100/100 the rankings are massively improved for the website on certain searches. So very important for the minify HTML to remain minfied. Any suggestions?

    Thanks
    Steve

I see why you would want a solution if you’re into pagespeed scores, but i have absolutely no idea what is going on there Steve. You really should, for starters, compare the exact HTML with and without the 100% PageSpeed scores, that will make things a lot more clear.

    hope this helps,
    frank
