Display custom menu in header widget as horizontal bar

    Hi. I’m sure this is a simple fix but I am struggling with it. I have created a 2 column utility bar above my header area and I added a custom menu to the widget area there. But, as it is not actually in the header, it is above it, when I put the custom menu widget in, it displays as a vertical list, I just want it to display horizontally, like a regular nav menu would. This is a Genesis child theme and I posted in the Studiopress forum but haven’t received any responses yet so I thought I would try here, I’m thinking it’s a pretty simple CSS issue.

    You got a nice site there ?? Try adding this this into your child theme style.css:

    .menu li {
display: inline-block;
}

    This should put the menu items into one line.

    Thank you!!! Graphic design is my specialty not coding. ?? That worked great I figured it was a simple CSS issue was just not seeing it. Thanks again!
