  • I had the same problem and have a similar problem with a different plugin’s CSS file. I was able to solve the font-awesome problem via dequeueing and re-enqueuing a local copy which is a bit complicated (i.e., if what I said doesn’t make sense to you, you probably won’t want to use my solution).

    I can also solve the second issue by including the CSS directly in my child theme’s sylesheet, but I would really like to learn why Speed Booster Pack is ignoring it. I presume there is a way to properly dequeue and re-enqueue so that it would be recognized by Speed Booster and loaded asynchronously, but I am not sure how exactly at this time.
