Getting a "White Screen of Death" after upgrade?

  • This is more of a FYI for simple people like myself.

    I am running the Yoast’s WordPress SEO Premium plug-in.

    Apparently the version I was running 1.0.1 did not show when an update was released. So I was still running 1.0.1 when I tried to upgrade the Google Analytics by Yoast. This resulted in a “White Screen of Death” in the WordPress admin area.

    The cure was to manually update the WordPress SEO Premium plugin to version 1.5.1. After that everything worked fine.
