How to show latest listings on the homepage?

Do you mean that you want to see the latest links from any of these categories? All mixed together? That is not directly possible in Link Library, as it can only display the most recent links, organized by category. I actually had a similar request recently and will try to implement this functionality over the holidays.

Yes that is what I mean, I believe almost all directories have that feature.

I will be pushing out a new version a bit later this evening that will contain a new option under the library settings to ‘Combine all results without categories’. Please try this out, creating a new set of library settings, configuring the sort order to be by updated date in reverse order and you should have what you are looking for.

That would be awesome, I will get it on the homepage of my site. Would be great if the links will be direct clickable resulting in homepage links for my clients and own sites :))

I am trying to create a new “Code to insert on a WordPress page” on the Library settings page to create this ‘Combine all results without categories’ short code, how do I do that?

Go under General Settings for Link Library and set the number of libraries to a number higher than 1, then save general settings.

Go to the Library Settings page, select the second library settings and start configuring your library, including checking the option to combine results.

Insert the new library with [link-library settings=”2″]

or whatever number the new library has.

Very cool, is working now with homepage links, still tweeking the layout a bit.
