Alternate Drop Down for Responsive

  • The drop down menus work well in desktop mode. However when you are in responsive mode the hover intent does not work since you can’t detect hover on a touch screen. Is there a way to change the hover intent to a click toggle on responsive, or baring that change that default on the entire site?

  • Hi mkassowitz. Could you expand a bit on what you mean by “click toggle”? On a mobile device, do the menus on your site not expand when you click on them?

    They do expand on mobile. The problem is that once expanded, a second click does not retract them. This is not a critical issue, but it would be nice to toggle the open and close of the sub-menus with a click.

    Got it. Pretty sure it would take some jquery code to change that functionality. I don’t have anything handy but could poke around and see what I can find. Javascript isn’t my strong suit so it may take a bit…
