• I have blog by e-mail working just fine. My only problem is that either WordPress or my e-mail client (Microsoft Outlook 2007) is adding line breaks automatically. I’ve set Outlook to send using Plain Text, but that didn’t do it.

There’s no line break tag, but the raw MySQL container has it in the field.

How can I prevent this? Blogging via e-mail is sweet, but it would be more of a hassle if I have to go back and clean up the posts later.

  • I’m having the same problem.

Me too (and I’m using Outlook 2007). I also have a “bonus problem”: I’m writing in Swedish and that means I’m using out three extra letters ?, ? and ?. When I try to post anything by mail, the post is cut by the first Swedish letter.
If I write “vilket mysig kv?ll f?r ?dlegrillning” the only thing that’s published is “vilken mysig kv”.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

I have another, but related issue (I think). I send email from my Yahoo! account (HTML) email account but the body of my message is cut out by the program.

I have WP 2.3.2. I had this problem with 2.1, it was fixed with 2.2. It reappeared when I installed 2.3.1.

Any ideas on how I can fix this? I’d like to use this feature again.
