Paragraph breaks not working

Have you altered the .css file with something that removed margins from paragraphs?

Try adding:

p {margin: .5em 0;}

That will give all <p>’s a top and bottom margin of .5em’s this can be changed to meet your desires. ??

i just realized that this is related to a plugin i installed : WP-Ecommerce.
When the plugin is activated i lose all the margin spacing. When i deactivate it, it is back to “normal”.

any thoughts?

Don’t use that plugin, perhaps? Plugins can do most anything. Talk to the plugin author, ask him why it does that.

Thank you SO much for the info on setting the paragraph margin in the style sheet. It was the fault of my THEME and NOT WordPress.

My paragraph marks are not working – but it just happened one day when the Word Press blog was updated, not when I added a plug in – it’s like suddenly the paragraph mark didn’t work and I’d have to put in two hard returns to get a regular paragraph mark. Also I can’t cut and paste into the blog anymore because it takes out all the paragraph marks. Does anybody know how to fix? I’m using Safari Version 3.0.4 (523.12.2) and my Word Press 2.2 is updated

I’m running into this same thing with margins disappearing after installing wp-ecommerce. It’s only on the admin side, which is frustrating. I can’t find any info on the web about this issue, surely there must be more than 3-4 people experiencing this? I’m gonna keep digging.
