• Does plugin work for you? And how do you know Yoast is working for you and it’s not just your site is growing in popularity because of the things you are doing regardless of Yoast?

I would like to hear from someone who has had success with this plugin. I’ve been using it for over a month now and when I search for my website it’s buried three or four pages deep. And I can’t even find specific posts. This is true even when I search for what I wrote in my meta-data.

I use all the Yoast functions for each post I make and I get the green dot, but still my posts are nowhere to be found when looking in Google. I use keywords that specifically apply to my site and yet sites that don’t even directly match those keywords pop up long before my site test. My search rankings have actually dropped since beginning to use Yoast.

When I contacted Yoast, their only real suggestion to me was to pay them $700 or more for an SEO review. My website doesn’t bring in the money to justify that and why would I pay for that service when what I use from them has not worked thus far.

So how has Yoast been successful for you?

    Thanks!

    Pat

  • Hello there,

There are many things which affects search engine rankings. Only On-page SEO is not enough. How many social signals your post are receiving? What about user engagement – bounce rate, pages per visit. Also backlinks and domain authority play an important role in rankings.

I’m using Yoast WordPress SEO and Google Analytics by Yoast from last 2-3 years and fully happy with performance and features of these plugins. Yoast team care about new things and plugins are up to date. It’s one of the best SEO plugin I have ever used. What more can you expect from plugins?

    Regards,
    Ryan
