User registrations

    This is my first post here, hope its the correct section to put the question forward.

    I have a problem for which I have searched and searched to no avail or maybe I am not searching for the right thing

    My Problem: My client only wants students who speak a certain language to be NOT able to register onto their website, everyone else can.

    The client wants to display a question on their registration page,
    ie, Are you a native speaker of….?
    and if the student chooses yes then they are unable to register.

    Also once they say yes they cannot choose no the next time to register.

    I have been searching for a plug in or a code to do this but all I have been getting is how to block out spam bots and unwanted users.

    Has anyone been able to do this? or can someone please guide me in some sort of way to accomplish this. Thanks in advance.
