List format in sidebar – bullet points ruin tag cloud

I’m using Laila 2.0 theme. I wanted to add a Simple Tag Cloud widget to my sidebar, but the Laila theme formats the lists of previous posts, links, and archives with bullet points.

Unfortunately, what this means is that instead of getting a pretty tag cloud with different size tags, I get a bulleted tag list down the sidebar – moreover, all tags are the same size, not graduated according to number of references.

I don’t really need any of the lists to be formatted with bullet points. I also would like the widget to be able to make some tags larger and some smaller…

I thought I found some code in the CSS I could delete but all that did was take the bullets out of the category headers in the sidebar, not out of the entire item list.

Where do I do these edits? I’d point to my site but it’s an adult one so I don’t want to reference it here.
