• I’ve just installed the latest 2.1. Everything went great – up untill typing username and password. Here was a blank screen dead end. The front end is looking great but no access is given to the admin module. Please help!

    Now I’ve removed the English version and installed the version in my own language (Danish) to see if it would help.

    No such thing, unfortunatally. On the contrary – now I can’t even run the installation!

    Now I’ve even deleted all wp-related database files and uploaded WP once again. It seems like nothing works. I just can’t acces https://www.bibelskarkaeologi.dk/blog/wp-admin/install.php

    Can’t access https://www.bibelskarkaeologi.dk/blog/ either.

    Check your web server’s error logs, anything listed there?

    Thanks for replying, HandySolo. There’s nothing in the web servers error log to explain the behavior of WP in this case.

    In fact I’ve made a set up earlier today at a different domain with the exact same result.

    I have browsed through many of the “Blank screen”-strings in the support forum, but none of the proposed solutions seem to make my problems go away.

    Therefore, if there is any suggestion you may give in this respect I would be very glad.

    Well, looks like you’ve made some progress while I’ve been shuttling kids to soccer games. ??

    I now see a site at https://www.bibelskarkaeologi.dk/blog/

    Something’s not quite right though… Viewing Source, I see this at the top of your page, before the “proper” blog stuff starts:

    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN">
    <html>
    <head>

    </head>
    <body>
    <br>
    </body>
    </html>

    Visiting your login screen, I see:
    Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /customers/bibelskarkaeologi.dk/bibelskarkaeologi.dk/httpd.www/blog/wp-config.php:5) in /customers/bibelskarkaeologi.dk/bibelskarkaeologi.dk/httpd.www/blog/wp-login.php on line 12

    So, I wonder… do you have any extra blank lines in your wp-config.php file? Anything before the opening <?php or after the closing ?> should be removed.
