Error: This is not a valid feed template with WordPress SEO Sitemap (caused by T

    I was getting a problem with the sitemap function on the WordPress SEO plugin. When I tried to load the sitemap.xml file I would receive the following error

    ERROR: This is not a valid feed template

    I did notice that the link to the sitemap was getting a trailing slash on the end, so thought this was the problem and updated my Permalinks – this didn’t work

    Through process of elimination I found this solution

    1. De-activate Testimonials Widget Premium plug-in
    2. Save Permalinks
    (check sitemap – works)
    3. Reactivate Testimonials Widget Premium plug-in

    If I were to update the Permalinks and check the sitemap with Testimonials Widget Premium plug in being active, the sitemap would fail again with “This is not a valid feed template” error

    Weird one I know. You probably won’t be able to recreate it, but thought I’d make you aware of it incase anyone else has the problem

    Thank you. I’ve pushed out a new release candidate for Testimonials Widget Premium. Once you can confirm the fix, I’ll push it out formally.
