No Add Theme or Plugin Options

  • I do not have the option to add a theme under appearance. I also do not have the option to add plugins.

    Trying to apply a new theme, i have already added the theme to my wp-content/themes folder, however i have no place in my copiercollin.com/wp-admin.php panel to apply the theme.

    I have read about the wordpress.com vs. www.remarpro.com interfaces, and i dont understand why there are two different ones, or which one godaddy installed for me when i ran the wordpress wizard in cpanel.

    help!

  • WordPress.COM hosts sites – so it’s not possible for GD to install that version.

    But your site shows that it IS currently hosted on WordPress.COM – see the line at the bottom – “Blog at WordPress.COM”

    Are you perhaps trying to move it to GD?

    yes. im trying to have godaddy host it.

    i’ve changed the domain name servers in godaddy to wp1, wp2,wp3 as instructed.

    Not sure what else to do.

    You need to get the nameservers changed TO GoDaddy’s settings. It looks like they are set to WordPress – see:

    https://www.whois.com/whois/copiercollin.com

    Also, nameserver changes can take up to 72 hours (it’s usually less) to propagate completely across the internet – so it won’t be instantaneous. Are you also moving the site itself?

    i think that might be my problem then…changed back to godaddy’s nameservers…Stand by.

    Everything was looking in the wrong spot!
