My blog title isn't changing. What gives?

Hi Support Forumgoers.

I just set up my blog, and I’m having trouble changing the title. It’s running this BetterMag theme.

Right now, the title shown in my browser window is simply the domain name: joyceofcooking.com. But what it should say is:

I’ve tried the following with no success:

– Changing the title using: Appearance > Customize
– Changing the title using: Settings > General.
– Tried making the above changes in both the main theme, and the child theme.
– Tried to contact the theme author, but they don’t have a solution to this problem.
– Cleared my browser cache.

And all Googled results provide solutions that are either specific to plug-ins that I don’t have installed, or much older versions of WordPress.

Any thoughts on this? It’s such a simple, but important thing I need to do!
