MAJOR problem. Please help!

thats a 404

is a 404 as well.

Im assuming that youve installed WP in its own directory, and are trying to do the magic thing that makes the front page of the domain load the blog? (cant reme. what thats called)

so what do I do to fix it?

Thanks for your help, but I have no idea what you mean. I am very inexperienced with this stuff. Whatever happened here, I cannot even access my options.

Is there any specific thing I should do to recover the design? Any help greatly appreciated…..thanks!

Youre not going to be able to “recover” what hasnt been lost. You altered those values due to problem in your other thread.

Changing one or both of them commonly leads to this if done incorrectly.

that’s host specific. A typical set up is that a host has cpanel access, and “MySQL” is one of the icons within cpanel that allows you to access phpmyadmin.

so my site appears to be working now after a call with my host, but I still can’t access the back end, admin stuff (https://rustedrobot.com/wordpress/wp-admin/index.php). What can I do to get that back?

Allow me to explain more clearly what is going on here.

My site seemed to have lost it’s graphics and was all text. That has been restored, with the exception of the archives, which do not work.

I can logon to the admin panel main page (https://rustedrobot.com/wordpress/wp-admin/index.php), but I whenever I click on anything from that main page (write, options, plugins, etc), I get a 404 error. Also, this site is all text as well. The design just seem to have disappeared.

Can anyone help?

logged into phpmyadmin and adjusted the home and siteurl URL’s – for some reason, they got fouled up.
