I set up the plugin and it works fine, except announcement image cannot be added, there is always a red arrow icon showing while I add a image from the media library. When I view the source code of the timeline page, <img src=””> is blank instead of showing the URL of the image. Any advise what it is causing it? Nice plugin.

Thanks EPGtest for the comments and for reporting the issue here.

I’m wondering what the issue may be. Are you able to grant me temporary access to the backend? I’m not 100% sure what you are referring when you sasy a red arrow icon showing when inside the media library.

When you attempt to add an image, the standard media library should open.

Can you provide a screenshot of the red arrow icon?

    Thanks,
    Evan

    Where is the red arrow??

Are you referring to the red circle with the – in it, on the upper left hand corner of the image? That’s normal, and should be there. It lets you delete images you have assigned to the announcement.

Secondly, can you please provide a link to the page with the timeline on it. It doesn’t make sense that you upload an image, and no html appears in the src tag.

    Thanks,
    Evan

Please go to https://zoningrewrite.pgplanning.com/about/project-timeline/, it is under Maintenance mode. You can login at https://zoningrewrite.pgplanning.com/wp-login.php as user1 and user1001.
Here is the HTML code of that portion of the page: <span class=”timeline-date”>December 5, 2014</span>
    </span>
    <img src=”” alt=”Announcement Image” class=”announcement-banner-image” > <span class=”the-excerpt”></span>

    Hey EPGtest,

Are you able to email me administrative credentials? I’m not sure what’s going on, it’s weird the SRC attribute isn’t being generated as it should. I’d like to check what’s going on with the url to the image.

Also, are you generating the timeline on a page or a post?

    Thanks,
    Evan

I am closing out this issue as it has been sitting inactive for 4 days.

If you’d like to work this issue out, feel free to comment back in this thread.

    Thanks,
    Evan

    Hi,

Was there ever an answer to this? I appear to be having the same problem. The first 2 images I added to the timeline a few weeks ago are showing but new images added today are generating blank src tags?
