    Greetings,

I just purchased the Abaris Pro version because I liked the demo version so much. To my disappointment, the flex slider functionality is completely different and I simply cannot get it to work properly. I want to be able to use the demo version with all the pro version options. I can’t understand why the flex slider options under “theme options>home” do not work as in the demo version. I am being forced to contend with this new “dashboard/flex slider” which I do not like. I want what I thought I was paying for…the demo version with pro options. NOW, that being said. I tried using the instructions here –> file:///C:/Users/ESC/Downloads/AbarisProDoc/dummy-content.html to setup my abaris pro theme as the demo but I am missing the files the instructions is referring to. Which are: redux_option_xxx.json and dummy-data.xml files. They are not in the theme folder as it says. Please help with this. Thank you.

Please do not post Pro version support questions here. I run a private forum for support. You’ve contacted me via email and I’ve provided solution. Thanks!

    Venkat Raj,
How can we get rid of the white background on the Flex Slider? Do we need to pay the upgrade to be able to remove this or not? It’s behind the image and the h1, h2, and h3 tags. If I wanted to use styles, how do I know what each item is called? Is there a list somewhere? This link: Abaris has the background removed displaying the lines image, which is what I want. But if you look at my site, Lakes Area Hog you’ll see the white background on the slider. I tried saving the images as .png and saving them as a copy, but this does not work. What do I have to do? Thanks.

    Hi Andy,

It is best to create a new thread, so that you get noticed quickly.

You’ve to use browser add on like FireBug and then override styles in custom css. Free Abaris only support half width slider.

    Venkat,
I tried posting a question on the WordPress forum last week, but didn’t get any responses. I thought I was going to get some support after I paid for the Abaris theme, but the webulous site’s forum link does not work. It looks like you are the person that created this theme, correct? Can you please help me so I can get my web site working? Below is what I posted last week.

Hi. I purchased the Abaris theme with the slider in it. I liked the way the free version was set up with the images on the left with some text on the right all inside the slider. At first, I was having a problem with a white background displaying behind the text and images, but then after I purchased this theme, there was some code I used to set up the page just like the demo. It worked great, but then I installed the Pro version of Abaris and couldn’t get the slider to display at all. So I copied the demo code again and now I am getting my images and text to load into the sliders, but they are displaying huge, even though I know the pics are not set to be that large. How do I get this slider working correctly exactly like the demo pro version? I went through the instructions, but nothing is working. My web site is https://www.lakesareahog.com
    Thanks.

The link to the support section for the pro site does work; however, you have to make sure that you are logged in. This fooled me before also. I have gotten great support from Raj and others on there. Best of luck.

    Raj;

You should definitely set it up to say please log in. Because other wise, it just saying, nothing here.

Tamer, I was logged in when I was working on the Pro theme. I think I finally figured this out. I had to install the dummy xml file in order to get it set up like the Pro demo theme. Then under Theme Options and Home, I could add the slider info. It needs to have at least 2 slides in order to work though. I also had to enable the slider, disable the Page Builder (if I want to use the Home functions here), and remove the Flex Slider Shortcode at the bottom of the Home under Theme Options. That’s not very well explained in the directions. Thank goodness I was able to find the directions to install the xml file. I used that to look at as an example. I also had to use Firebug to look at the code a little to figure out what was going on. For instance, there is nowhere that explains how to make the Footer look the way it does on the pro theme site. I finally figured that out today. It’s under the Customize link, Footer, and then you have to add some widgets in the footer, like a list, or button, or whatever you want to add in there. What I don’t understand, is the pro theme has a subscribe button and you’re supposed to type in your email to get on the list. How do you set that all up? Another question, I have, is why do we need a page called, “Front Page”, if the Home page under Theme Options works? What’s the difference between these 2? Is it that you can’t add anymore to the Home page, where the Front page, you could add more things if you want? Or how can the Circle icons just display when the page loads, rather than having to scroll down before they display? That’s really annoying. How can we edit the code on the Home link under Theme Options. There is a white bar above my footer that I want gone. Thanks for the response.

Just to clarify here – these www.remarpro.com forums are only for free version support – if you are using the Pro version, you need to use the developer’s dedicated support channels.

There is no dedicated support channel for the Pro version. That’s the problem. Here’s the link that is supposed to have support: https://www.webulousthemes.com/forums/

    Try the contact form here:

@venkat Raj – please chime in here about how you can be reached if the contact form is not the best way?!

    Thanks.

If we ask any questions on the contact us form, it says our question will be ignored. This form is only for pre-sales questions and paid customization. Here’s what it says:

This contact form is only for pre-sales questions and query about paid customization. Any support requests will be strictly ignored as our customer support staff don’t have access to this. Please post your support request in our support forums to get prompt replies.

The link they have to their support page does not work either.

It works fine. You have to be logged into your account which you used to purchase the product. I am looking at it right now. Click on my account first and make sure you log into the site with the account that you used when you purchased your product. Then go to support. Works great.

When I go to https://www.webulousthemes.com/forums/ I see 4 support forums all Private: Abaris Pro Boxy Pro FlatOn Pro and GreenrPro. I think the major issue which is a design flaw of the support site is you have to be logged into your account which you used to buy the product before it shows these forums. Perhaps it can be made clearer by the blank forum page to say something about that.

Btw, the scroll down of the circular icons is something that bothered me as well. I wanted them to just be there. I was told I have to turn off animation in the settings for them to just be there. I am not sure what else that effects as I am not using all the features. As to your other question about having the different ways of manipulating the front page gives users a wider range of options in creating their page. Not everyone knows or wants to use a specific method. It makes the theme more flexible for different users. Just my 2 cents. I am just a purchaser of the product also and am using it on a couple of sites and have so far really liked its flexibility. Almost all changes are easy via CSS and it would be nice to have a list of all classes / IDs but one can just go through the different CSS files or use an inspector plugin like firebug. I have seen no theme that has a master list of classes / IDs. It would be great if they all did; but none do.
