Having the choice of security options is great, but I’m noting that when I am inside a site adding Rublon I have to delete the Trusted piece for what I’m on, then it did give me the QR to verify that way. The problem seems to be that it told me it would log me out when I deleted the Trusted item I was on at the time, but I landed back still being logged in and exposed to the Dashboard as well. Like it worked, but it didn’t at the same time. Not sure if that’s a glitch or missing coding to ensure it kicks someone out doing that method.

With multiple WP sites, adding this is ongoing. The alias emails are great, but I’m doing all this multiple times so ensuring someone can’t go in and do this to me or sniff my traffic and stay logged in when I leave is important. We’ve seen a huge surge in overseas hack attempts and fake ID’s!

    Thanks!

    Hey PSCGOhio

Currently simply removing a trusted devices does not log you out of services that you use on that particular device. This is a feature that will be released very soon in one of the coming plugin updates.

As far as I correctly understand, you are removing your trusted device each time you stop using it. Is that correct? The idea of trusted devices is to set them up once and just leave them there, unless you really stop using them physically (e.g. you go on a vacation, sell them, or give them to somebody else). Remember that you still have to enter your password to access your account, even on a trusted device. This stops people from getting unauthorized access even if they can get ahold of your device.

Nope, not deleting it every time. Just removing one that had some sort of issue and finding that situation happening instead of what was expected. If you’re onto a fix upcoming – problem solved, thanks!

    Hi PSCGOhio

The latest version of the plugin introduces the remote logout functionality. Does this solve your problem?
