    Hi

I have been running Quick Cache on liveforfilms.com for a while now and everything was going smoothly. However, over the past couple of weeks I had been getting warnings from the host (Bluehost) that the site was generating a large number of files on their server.

They have a limit of 200,000 files on the account I use, but the files had shot up to over 400,000 for the first warnings and over 500,000 for the next.

I cleared all the files and it dropped right down again, but it would shoot up the next day.

They advised it was the large number of files generated by Quick Cache. I had changed the settings so it would clear the cache every hour and then every 10 minutes, but neither made any difference. I’ve deactivated the plugin for the moment and the problem has stopped.

Any idea what is causing the problem and how it can be fixed as I did find Quick Cache a very useful tool.

    Thanks,

    Phil
