Plug In To Change Post Order

  • I want to be able to change the order of my posts. Is there any plug in out there or can someone help me out with this?

  • You probably don’t need a plugin as WP handles this already. You can sort in ascending or descending order by author, date created, category, title, date modified or (page) menu order.

    Depends how much control you want. If you want ‘stickyness’ and non-trivial orders – I’ve built a plugin that allows manually configuring the order of posts (did it for a site where i used WordPress as book catalog/CMS). If anybody needs something like this please let me know and I’ll polish and release it.

    Hi Guys. The plugin I had written was for WordPress 2.2 and needed some template level ‘help’ modifications to go 2.3+ all of which I’ve nearly completed. Should have it out in the next day or five. Apologies for the wait, day-job and all that ??
