Noob advice on structuring content

  • I’m pretty much new to blogging and was after some advice or pointers to where to begin and structure my content.

    On my blog I am going to be writing posts about topics and also things that I consider “news” in my genre. Would it be best to put all posts on one page? I tried to create a static page called “news” but I can’t put separate posts on there.

    i know i have probably answered my own question lol but would appreciate some advice from fellow bloggers ??

  • The structure you describe would be best organized using categories. I’d personally be inclined to rename the “Uncategorized” category to “News” (be sure to change the slug too), and then create new categories for whatever other topics you’ll be covering.

    Pages are generally best used to display relatively static content.
