    How do I create a Menu page that contains recent blog posts? Currently the only way to read my entries is to click on them individually from the home page. Link to my site. I would like to add an additional Menu option that contains my blog posts while also keeping them on the home page.

  • Hey!

    First of all you need to make two new pages: one called ex. “home” and one ex. “blog”.

    Next thing you want to do is head to wordpress admin panel –> settings –> reading and check a box that lets you to choose your home page and blog page –> choose those pages.

    Thanks

    @mhd101 : Follow the Reading-settings settings given above.

    @jaska120 : Thanks .

    Hi,

    I have the same question regarding posting blog posts on a separate page, but when I select the static page to post on it removes all the dynamic widgets from the homepage (such as image slider etc)

    I’ve seen enigma sites that maintain the same homepage functionality while also having a seperate blog so I know it should be fairly simple!

    Thanks

    Gcotter, did you modify the theme somehow? For me it is showing widgets while using seperate blog page… Perhaps, when creating blog page – did you set the page as full-width or “normal” template?

    Can you post a link to your site?

    Hi, I made a silly mistake!

    Was so obvious I couldn’t see it.

    Thanks!

    @gcotter : can i make this close ?

    Dear All, Happy New year 2015

    While my posts are dynamic on the home page, they are static on any other pages including the blog page. I also created a category and added to the menu but still it is static. Any idea why?

    I have not change anything else on the theme (no child theme no changes on any files)

    Thank you

    @cerises: Happy new year to you too ??

    Share your site link please..

    Thanks

    I am all good now thank you ??

    @cerises: making this to be closed.
