Everything on my site is at it’s most up-to-date and the posts will not scroll after I have setup everything in the settings area. It will just list the amount of posts I have set in the total amount of posts to scroll through. I currently have it changed to 1 for the site display but it should scroll through 10, but instead it just lists the 10 posts.

Site is https://www.bbdlc.com. Using Widgets on Pages Plugin and have VSRP Widget Setup for the Home Page.

In previous updates, I have also noticed that all of my settings get reset to default. Will this not occur anymore since the new setup a scroll feature has been added?

Hello, thank you for using our plugin. As i see the jQuery-Collapse-O-Matic plugin you have is producing a Javascript error and that’s why VSRP is not working. You can see it by pressing F12 on Chrome and opening the developers console.

    Now you can try:
    – Disabling VSRP and check if the error is gone. If not then it’s not a problem produced by our plugin.
    – Disabling jQuery-Collapse-O-Matic and see if scrolling works

Please let me now what happens.

I see the error. I have tried disabling both plugins and still run into the same issue.

When I disabled VSRP, it also reset everything that was setup. Should I reinstall VSRP?

I just deactivated the plugin on my site and yeap it removed the settings. I don’t get why (as i have registered the deleting upon unistall of the plugin not deactivation). Will have to look into that.

Now about the problem. I don’t get it, did you disabled the collapse plugin but still see the error? Did you cleared the cache? After deactivating (try even unistalling) VSRP the error is still there? If yes, you understand that it’s not the current plugin’s fault but jQuery-Collapse. Btw that means that any Javascript code won’t run on your page, not only Vertical Scroll Recent Post.

    Bump.

Any news? Would you like a more direct way to help you?

Sorry for the delay in response.

I uninstalled Collapse-O-Matic and uninstalled VSRP, cleared cache and then reinstalled VSRP.

The jQuery error is now gone.

It currently setup to show 1 post at a time and scroll through 10. It is showing 10 posts and not scrolling.

What is a more direct way to help??

Well i meant some instant messaging, perhaps skype/teamviewer?

I see your webpage and there is a problem. Plugin’s files are not loaded at all. All that is loaded from plugins prospect is: jetpack/css and widgets-on-pages. Nothing from VSRP…

Are you using widgets on pages to display the VSRP plugin? There is a shortcode available now, try that instead of using widget in page.

Bump, i saw you didn’t fix the problem. Are you still interested?

I am interested in a solution to this issue, as I am also experiencing it on my site, chimicles.com

Trying the shortcode now to see if that works. I am pretty sure I tried that previously, but I will try it again and will let you know what happens.

@chimtikllp i answered you at the other topic. You are good to go, follow the instructions i wrote there.

@thebucksyndicate well then there is a problem with your caching mechanism, CSS and JS files of this plugin are not even loaded in your website with no other error showing. Maybe enabling WP_DEBUG will show us more?

@thebucksyndicate In version 11.9 when disabling VSRP plugin settings are not deleted anymore ??
