So confused – the “Write Post” page has changed

  • Don’t know if I’m being really stupid.. have only been using wordpress for a couple of days, but went to write a post the other day and couldn’t insert an image – spent hours trying to figure out why before realizing that the Post options under the Title are different to how they were previously – the options I now have are:

    b, i, link, b-quote, del, ins, img, ul etc etc..

    Any ideas what I’ve done wrong? I haven’t knowingly changed anything but I just want it back how it was!

    Is the option use the Visual Rich Editor checked?

    I knew it would be something simple!! Yes, thank you – that’s solved the problem.

    i had the same problem, even when u checked on the visual rich editor thing, nothing helps. even the icons above are missing and all i see is <p/> here and there.

    any idea how to handle this? tq.

    oh yes, I am using WP2.1.3 and in Your Profile under User, for the checked column, it only says
    “Use the visual editor when writing” instead of “visual RICH editor”.
