Problems with adwords, front page, visual vs. code

Just started https://www.dopeystuff.com and it works great with adwords.

So…

I want to convert https://www.coffeetherapy.net to WordPress — without downtime.

My plan is/was to make the site in a sub-folder and then do the necessary changes so that it’s the under the domain name.

But the problem is:

https://www.coffeetherapy.net/coffeeblog/ — Adwords don’t display.

I keep trying to change the home page to:
https://www.coffeetherapy.net/coffeeblog/?page_id=5
or
https://www.coffeetherapy.net/coffeeblog/?p=1

Can’t get it to work.

Also experiencing another problem. When I write, I’ve lost the “Visual” or “Code” options. “Code” is the only option.

Should bag the subfolder idea, delete the whole thing, and take the plunge by start over in the root directory with the domain name I want to use?
