• Hi,

My paypal pro form as just stopped working and I’m not sure why?

I get the following error on the page:

Invalid form configuration. Missing “level” attribute. Membership Level. Must be numeric [1-4], or an asterisk (*).

    On: https://www.beezkneezhive.com/index.php/join-now/

I also see a CAPCHA at the end, even though this is not enabled on my shortcode?

I’m using a form with three checkout options.

    Here is the shortcode: [s2Member-Pro-PayPal-Form level=”1″ ccaps=”” desc=”£9.99 – Honey Bee Monthly Membership” ps=”paypal” lc=”” cc=”GBP” dg=”0″ ns=”1″ custom=”www.beezkneezhive.com” ta=”0″ tp=”0″ tt=”D” ra=”9.99″ rp=”1″ rt=”M” rr=”1″ rrt=”” rra=”2″ accept=”paypal” accept_via_paypal=”paypal” coupon=”” accept_coupons=”1″ default_country_code=”” captcha=”0″ success=”/index.php/thank-you-for-joining-thebeezkneez/”/]

  • This sounds like a plugin conflict.

Okay thanks, any ideas which ones?

    Here is my list:

    Select BruteProtect
    Select Cleverwise Contact Page
Select Constant Contact Plugin for WordPress
    Select Custom Ribbon Maker
    Select Custom Sidebars
    Select Easy Twitter Feed Widget
    Select Footer Putter
    Select Gravity Forms
Select Gravity Forms Constant Contact Add-On
    Select Image in the Widget
    Select Itthinx Updates
    Select Jetpack by WordPress.com
    Select Media Grid
There is a new version of M available. Download version 3.112 or view update notes.
Select Media Grid – Overlay Manager add-on
    Select Meta Slider
Select New Google Plus Badge Widget
    Select New RoyalSlider
    Select No Comments On Pages
    Select Remove Dashboard Access
    Select s2Member Framework
    Select Search & Replace
    Select Sidebar Login
    Select Simple Google Analytics
    Select Social Media Widget
    Select Testimonials Showcase
    Select TinyMCE Advanced
    Select Top 25 Social Icons
Select UberMenu 3 – The Ultimate WordPress Mega Menu
    Select UpdraftPlus – Backup/Restore
    Select Widget Alias
    Select WordPress Importer
    Select WP Editor
    Select WP Video Lightbox

It’s difficult to say, because I don’t use many of these. Deactivating them all and then turning them on by one and testing is the only way to know for sure.

I’ve just tried this and I still get the error with JUST s2member activated and everything else off!

    Does my shortcode look right?

I’m not an expert on shortcoes, but it looks OK to me. The only other thing I can think of is a theme conflict. Have you recently updated it?

Otherwise, I’d suggest you contact Pro support at s2member.com/contact

A few hours ago, my Pro form stopped working too. Not the identical same problem – but strange that there’s multiple issues with pro forms that previously worked that no longer do.

I’ll post my issue seperately, but wanted to flag as I’m also using Pro forms but for PayPal payments only.

Just solved this. It was the custom success URL that was creating the issue in the shortcake. I’ve got around it by removing the “success=LINK” from the shortcode. I had to recode some of the plugin to get a custom success URL link from the landing page back after being redirected by paypal back to the site.
