  • Thanks for the feedback. I’ll pass it along to our developers, although since P2 is no longer in active development, enhancements are not generally being considered at this time.

    Howdy @geminorum,

Just letting you know that we have refactored the p2_date_time_with_microformat function and added an output filter, passing various parameters to it, which allows fine grained modification of the date/time string.

You can expect this enhancement in the upcoming P2 theme update. Thanks for letting us know about this.

    Cheers!

I wanted to let you both know that a new version of P2 (1.5.7) has been released which should fix this issue.

It’s available for download at the “Download P2” link here:
https://p2theme.com/ (scroll down for the link)

You can also read the changelog to find out what else has been updated.

This update is not currently available from your dashboard, since P2’s special functionality means it can’t be uploaded to the www.remarpro.com theme showcase right now. You will need to install or update the theme manually via FTP..

If you have any questions or have any issues with this version of P2, please let us know.

thanks for the filter but it’s incomplete by not passing $type into the filter. can’t determine it’s comment date or post. I need this to get timestamp from the original post.

and on a side note to anyone who wants to localize; the filter alone is not working, since P2 use a javascript version to update times on the browser.

you can see my solution here
