Does WP-Members work with W3 Total Cache? The problem I have is that when people login, rather than being shown the content the post refreshes and they are presented with the login/registration form again, even though they have logged in. Basically, the aren’t being shown the content.

I use W3 Total Cache, because I’m on shared hosting and a CDN.

    Thanks.

Yes it is compatible. You just need to pay attention to configuration. If you just use the default install you probably will run into problems.

Could you tell me what needs to done differently with the configuration? I read somewhere that you should only use object caching with membership sites.

Generally, if you disable Database Caching, you should be OK.

Hi Chad: I’m having real trouble.

1.) When people try to login using wp-members widget, the Login-Register widget says, “you are not logged-in.” However, if you go to, “forgot”- that that page shows them as logged in….sometimes.

2.) I’ve also had lots of trouble trying, “forgot.” After a failed login, when they go to “forgot”, wp-members will say that their password has been sent to their email address- but they don’t receive the reset email.

I have done everything I see in your faq regarding no captcha plugin, remove moderation and password field in registration and have loaded the smtp plugin you’ve mentioned.

I’ve also unchecked page and database cache in W3 Total cache.

What’s going on Chad? I’ve some some crazy gals very upset with me…well…us. LoL.

    Help Brother
