Newbie designer here with decent scripting background.

I’ve successfully used the “Contact form 7” widget to add contact forms to footers and pages. However, how would I add a contact form (newlsetter signup) to the menu bar used for the main navigation? Shortcodes dont seem to “resolve” when added as links to the menus.

Similarly, I dont see a easy way to add some customized text or an image to the menu bar (used in the nav bar).

What would be the best way to accomplish this? Search for a plugin that does what I want, customized CSS, or manipulation of the theme code?

The top bar of this website shows the kind of things I’d like to do with the menu:

    Hi there,

The above website isn’t using a menu to display the forms – it looks like they’re using hooks to insert that content into their theme.

If you have our add-ons, you can use GP Hooks to insert your contact form shortcode above the header, like they have on their site.

If not, you’ll have to use PHP to insert the code into the hook above the header.

Let me know if you have any questions ??
