• Our website is running slowly after the automatic update took place yesterday. What do I do to resolve the issue?

  • Do you use a cache plugin? If so, during the upgrade process the cache is reset and in some cases it may take a few for the cache to catch up again.

    Hi Justin-
    I’m a newbie to WordPress, so where do I look for the cache plugin? The site was disabled at first, and now it runs slowly. When any edits are attempted, the following error message appears:
    “Connection lost. Saving has been disabled until you’re reconnected. We’re backing up this post in your browser, just in case.”

    The plugin would be located under the menu item “Plugins” in the wp-admin area.
    Contact your host to see if they notice anything on their side about the “Connection Lost” error.
