My login screen is just a white empty screen??

  • Please advice….

    I did do a backup from my FTP before trying to make a manual update of wordpress version 4.0 to 4.01.

    After uploading the new files, I could not enter the site, a lots of erros related to the various files was displayed.. So I went into my FTP and manually deleted the files on the server wjich i could see were 2 of, with a (1) in the extension. After deleting the files and uploading the ones I backed up, I could enter the site again. BUT… On my site in my footer, I have a admin login field, I login and then still from the site up in the top i have the wordpress panel, I click on dashboard and here it just shows a empty white screen!!! So i can not login or get my wordpress panel to display?? Please help me.. My site url is https://ds.bilverdy.dk/ds/
    The problem must relate to the https://ds.bilverdy.dk/ds/wp-admin/ where is the wp-admin file???
    Please advice…

    Ok resolved. I deleted the wp-admin folder and uploaded the backup one..

    How do update manualy my wordpress from 4.0 to 4.01?? My ftp program is FTP rush, instead of overwrite the files it just added files with a (1) as an extension..

    NEW ISSUE!!! Now when I am in a page edit mode, i can only use the “text” mode?? Nothing happendes when I click on “visual” and my visual composer button is also gone?? You know the backend button??

    What happend??

    I deleted the wp-admin folder and uploaded the backup one.

    You can’t mix directories old with new.
