Auto-attach File with variable Filename

  • Hey there,

    I’ve implemented a signature pad to cf7 which saves the siganture under the filename [userIP]_siganture.png in an uploadsfolder

    How can is autoattach this file to the form, whis is send to me? I tried to use the Attachment field like this:

    /home/www/wp-folder/wp-content/sig_pad/signatur/tmp/[_remote_ip]_siganture.png

    which doesn’t work.

    Do you have other ideas, whih could word. Sadly I dont understand the before_sent_mail hooks

    Or to ask more simple, how can i add a user ID based file, like:

    user_ID.png
    IP_adress.png
    display_name.png…

    Any ideas?

    Yes, bumping doesn’t help get you any answers.

    Also, this is a pretty specialized question, and you really don’t give enough information for anybody to give you a meaningful answer. If you’re looking for code help, then it works best to state what you have tried, what doesn’t work about it, and other information for people to help you with. Just a general “how do I do X” is a very vague type of thing, which rarely gets a meaningful response, especially in a free forum.

    Ok, I thought I’ve explained very clear. Again:

    • I’ve a wordpress installation, on which registered users will upload a drawn signature as jpg.
    • The name of this file is always userrelated. For example the ID of the user is 13, than the file is named 13.png
    • I want to add a CF7 form which attaches automatically this userrelated file, to the email, which is sended to me.

    I thought that this isn’t so hard to implement, but I don’t know any way to make this work.

    If anyone has a helpful tip, I’d be very gladful!
