One Year Ago

  • I posted this in a resolved topic, but it’s not resolved. Maybe you can help.

    FYI, I’ve tried both of these plugins with no success. The time capsule one came the closest, but it only recalled TODAY’S posts, no matter what settings I used in the manage menu.

    I’m using WP 2.0.X and have a very strict permalink structure of https://mysite.com/archives/XXXX. I do not use the /year/month/day/post-slug method due to a design limitation that requires me to have static URLs.

    Is that the reason why the time-capsule plugin doesn’t work properly?

    Is there anyone out there that knows how this can be rectified? I checked the code and it was hard for me to determine what, if anything could be changed.

    Your help is greatly appreciated, as I’d love to utilize this useful plugin.

    FYI, I meant the post title to be “time capsule”. This is the plugin I’d like to use, and having difficulty with.
