Can Login but cannot see my ADMIN dashboard

  • I have been logging in perfectly fine since updating BUT all of sudden I changed my password and now I can’t see my full admin site (e.g. can’t see posts or anything else). I’ve read the article:

    I’ve read all the articles on here, but I’m a serious tech-newbie and don’t understand how to check all the files in my host site. I’ve managed to clear my cache, and also i changed the plugins folder name in my host site, but that’s about as far as I’ve gotten and I’m panicking. I need to post!

    – also what theme are you using?

    You can reset your password through sql if you have access to that.

    Hi Tara – thank you. I think you may be right – for some reason I don’t have the admin login information! I have two email addresses and have tried them both and reset passwords and it keeps taking me to that same area where I cannot access the admin password.

    Is there a way to figure out what my admin username is?

    I figured it out – not how to find my username but that I have two of the same usernames (1 for admin and 1 so I get my post as a user and they both had the same email and same password….)
