Blank screen on settngs

    Two questions..

    1) I am getting a blank screen (ie white) when clicking on settings

    2) If working can a global redirect be added from one permalink to another type?

    ie /index.php/%post_id%/%postname%/
    to
    /index.php/%category%/%post_id%/%postname%/

    This isn’t the same thing as you are asking but would FV Top Level Categories solve your issue by removing the category?

    The Top Level Categories plugin allows you to remove the prefix before the URL to your category page. For example, instead of https://foliovision.com/category/work, you can use https://foliovision.com/work for the address of “work” category. WordPress doesn’t allow you to have a blank prefix for categories (they insert category/ before the name), this plugin works around that restriction.

    The current custom permalink structure doesn’t have a category

    ie /index.php/%post_id%/%postname%/

    and this needs changing to the following with the category

    /index.php/%category%/%post_id%/%postname%/

    but at the moment I cannot view any settings page/screen

    The FV Top Level Categories seems to have some very mixed reviews…
