HOW TO Test a new Slide without publishing it?

  • Dear All,
    I’m on Customizr 3.1.24
    Problem is that if I want to test a new Slide in Media > Library Page and I set to “Add to a slider” YES, but without “Update”, then when I move to “Customize Your Site” in order to view the Slide in action, that slide is already AUTOMATICALLY published! …obviously, I don’t want that, and I need the possibility to run tests with different slides in parallel to the Slider actually visible to the public.

    Is there an option to keep this test not published? (…or maybe this option is available only in the newly released version 3.2.3 ?)

  • I’d look at it from a different angle. The best approach to test any new features is to not do it on the Live site.

    You need a Test Site where you can make changes before you deploy to the Live site.

    I’d recommend Desktop Server. There is a free option that would allow you to do this on your local PC/Mac
