Valid XPath expression considered as invalid by WPWS

Hello,
As far as I understand, not all XPath requests can be used with the plugin? E.g. the following is valid according to FirePath, but WPWS tells me its an invalid XPath expression :
//table[@class=’wikitable sortable jquery-tablesorter’]//tbody/tr[td[2][normalize-space(.)=’France’]]
The expression is designed to select a subset of the fablabs list here :
