    Hi,
    your plugin looks to be the most flexible regarding localization ooptions. I’m switching over after trying other plugins including paid plugins.

    So I’m setting up… However under localize Amazon link I see this:
    “You currently do not have ip2nation installed, and the remote file is unavailable”

    And when I click localize amazon link on and update options there is a long wait before i receive this error:

    “ip2nation install: Failed to download file: Recv failure: Connection reset by peer”

    Can you help please?

    Hi,

    Yes the site (www.ip2nation.com) does appear to be down, hopefully only temporary.

    I am working on a version that uses MaxMind database instead, I’ll see if I can dig it out.

    I just installed the Amazon Link plug in for the first time. When I click localise, it says that I do not have ip2nation installed (as the above poster already said). Does this mean that all of my non-USA affiliate codes will not work?

    Oh! Nevermind! While it said that in Setup, in Settings there was a button to click and it seems to have take care of itself. Sorry to be a bother. ??

    Hi,

    Glad you got it working!

    You are right though, the wording in the setup page is misleading.

    On the setup screen selecting the Localise Amazon Link option will both install the ip2nation database and enable localisation.
